Soley got himself booked for a foul. 36 minutes of the match played, and a comedy of errors by the home side gave the visitors a chance at the lead, but E. Gorączko, after finding himself dashing down on goal from the left with only the keeper to beat, sliced his shot horribly wide. Seguantí's J. Rubio de Barrio was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 41 minutes. With 43 minutes gone, J. Coscarate suddenly found himself completely free on the right wing when a counterattack by Seguantí caught their opponents by surprise. Only a great save by the opposing keeper prevented him from scoring. It was 0 - 0 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Bocadillo, with 61 percent of the ball.

This was a good period for the visitors, with several opportunities to take the lead, particularly when M. Arraiz slipped through the defence on the right to come up alone against A. Freijomil, but the home side's keeper showed his lightning reflexes. The referee showed Bocadillo's J. Kang the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The intense heat forced E. Bellentani into making some errors because he couldn't seem to keep up with the others. Down the middle came J. Kang, making a fantastic play that nearly had Bocadillo take the lead after 68 minutes, but A. Freijomil preserved the tie. In a rapid move 69 minutes into the match, A. Sinkiewicz of Seguantí lost his man and passed the ball to the unmarked P. Soley who easily hit it home to make it 1 - 0. Luckily the ref didn't see him taunting the opposing fans in celebration - naughty boy! 70 minutes into the match, B. Serrano bent a free kick around the home team's defensive formation, leaving the keeper with no chance for a save. Bocadillo had levelled the scoreline at 1 - 1. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave R. Argiles from Seguantí a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 72 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! After 75 minutes, the Seguantí coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving J. Toro Bravo off the field. D. Corvite took his place. 76 minutes into the game, Seguantí wanted to bring some new energy to their game. R. Argiles gave O. Carbonnel a quick hug as he left the field. As the 80 minute mark approached, the Seguantí coach decided it was time for a substitution. S. Gilbert reluctantly made way for A. Tudor on the pitch. Possession in this half belonged to Bocadillo, who controlled the ball 63 percent of the time.

Most important Seguantí player was A. Sinkiewicz. D. Corvite turned in a dismal performance, however. Bocadillo's top performer was clearly M. Arraiz. However, E. Parra made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 1.
