Turia saw most attack opportunities on the wings. For their match strategy, Mirobriga had decided to use their ability to counter-attack whenever possible. After 3 minutes, Mirobriga sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached J. Sherman, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 0 - 1. Turia's M. Gutiérrez-Calderón put his head to a well placed ball, lifted in from the left, and scored to make the score 1 - 1 with 11 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock. G. Ferraguti came close to putting the visiting team one up 13 minutes into the match, following a solo raid down the middle, but S. Wälti managed to tip the ball to a corner. R. Fernández didn't let the weather get him down and made some great moves on the pitch in spite of the rain. After some beautiful movement down the left wing, M. Salarich scored for Turia putting them ahead 2 - 1, after 34 minutes. It was 2 - 1 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to Turia, who controlled the ball 59 percent of the time.

Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 69 minutes, Mirobriga did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, I. Silos was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 2 - 2. At 77 minutes played, P. Cappello came in from the right with the intention of giving Turia the lead, but his rocket of a shot rattled the crossbar. After a fine move down the middle S. Casabuena nearly gave the home side a goal after 78 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. 81 minutes into the match, Mirobriga nearly took the lead, as C. Ullram broke through on the right. S. Wälti made the save, however. Mirobriga mounted an inspired counterattack down the right wing after 86 minutes, but O. Dursun was unable to convert from short range. Mirobriga had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 87 minutes in when G. Ferraguti came up alone against S. Wälti who managed a block. L. Morillo knocked one home from a counterattack down the right wing, making the score 3 - 2 after 88 minutes. Turia had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. M. Salarich increased the lead for Turia to 4 - 2, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! Turia claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 58 percent.

Most important Turia player was L. Morillo. S. Wälti turned in a dismal performance, however. Mirobriga's best player was I. Silos. Q. Chevalley was a disappointment, however. The match ends 4 - 2.
