Mar Díaz was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 1 - 0. F. Buxeda increased the lead for Triplete to 2 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! Confident in their lead, Triplete's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. With 25 minutes played, J. Jurado could have brought this one home for Triplete as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. After 28 minutes, J. Jurado put Triplete ahead 3 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. The teams went for the halftime break at 3 - 0. Triplete had most of the ball, with 59 percent of possession.

The referee showed Triplete's U. Pando the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The crowd roared its approval when Z. Noršić somehow managed to block a shot which seemed to be a certain goal by Canelo's B. Collins 76 minutes into the game. 83 minutes into the game, Canelo's attack got through on the right, but J. Pelli couldn't handle the ball and his feeble kick wound up in the keeper's arms. Triplete solidified their lead at the 84 minute mark, as J. Mar Díaz dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 4 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to Triplete, who controlled the ball 58 percent of the time.

J. Mar Díaz performed admirably for Triplete. However, Z. Noršić made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Canelo player was without a doubt R. Alguersuari. B. Collins on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 0.
