Dark skies made the crowd of 32516 at Los Jorges a little nervous, but the rain held off. Marcelino Bustos was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Antti Voivalin and Josef Stangl. Irmler received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave A. Rincón from Agónico a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 34 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 0. Agónico enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

54 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as V. Cybkinas broke through, making the score 3 - 0 for Agónico. By now, the players in Agónico felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Agónico's G. Castromil had an excellent opportunity after 61 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Agónico's V. Cybkinas increasing the lead to 4 - 0. Agónico earned themselves a free kick after a counterattack wasn't dealt with adequately by their opponents. G. Castromil powered the shot in for 5 - 0. Agónico had most of the ball, with 52 percent of possession.

The most dominating Agónico player was without a doubt F. Majo Llorente. D. González Tanago was a disappointment, however. K. Merganiotis performed admirably for Ue. S. van Campenhout turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 5 - 0.
