Clear skies welcomed the 28315 spectators who had made their way to La Cañiza. Ivar Carlsson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jan Quaresma and Athina Carhuaricra. J. Puerta caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 13 minutes. This gave Crapulas the 1 - 0 lead. Crapulas's F. Corvera had an excellent opportunity after 17 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! It was 1 - 0 at the break. Crapulas enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

A great save by keeper S. Gratien after 55 minutes kept the visitors in the game after J. Puerta struck from the left with a real cannonball. Dalessandros's G. Vermeiren was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 70 minutes. After 78 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Crapulas found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to poor. Dalessandros levelled the score after 83 minutes to make it 1 - 1, as J. Schäffer struck home after a fine midfield combination through the centre, which left him completely unmarked. G. Vermeiren acted foolishly after 89 minutes, giving the ball up to Crapulas's N. Armengou who had no trouble finding the back of the net. 2 - 1. K. Steehouder finished off a quick charge from the left of the field by chipping the ball just past the home side's keeper, making the score 2 - 2 89 minutes into the match. Dalessandros had most of the ball, with 58 percent of possession.

H. Thomas performed admirably for Crapulas. P. López Diaz on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Dalessandros player was without a doubt O. Tadmor. A. Felek was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 2.
