U.D. 2 - 4 Charito
(382961953)

14-07-2012 14.00
A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 31249 to
San Juan Bosco.
Igor Ivashkin was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Stephane Schönenberg and
Puck Wagenaar.
U.D. decided to use a 3-5-2 set up.
Lineup: Hermosa - Kessel-Buntes, Bertuccio, Künzi - Palacios, Caravantes, van Os, Velasco Tovar, Cáceres - Urbain, Nassarelli.
Charito had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
They fielded: Mons - Løvlien, Roulier, Rosselló - Lacunes, Ribeiro, Selva, Shutkov, Domiter - Wolfisberg, Rivero.
Charito's
C. Roulier gave the visitors a 0 - 1 lead after 16 minutes with a superb strike from the right.
23 minutes in, the unpredictable
F. Cáceres of U.D. turned and curled the ball towards goal, but it flew inches wide of the post, almost taking out a member of the crowd!
J. Velasco Tovar of U.D. seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 1 - 1 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by
A. Nassarelli.
U.D. had a good opportunity to take the lead as
A. Caravantes came up the left side, but he struck the ball weakly and it went straight into the arms of
S. Mons.
Charito took the lead after 34 minutes making the score 1 - 2.
H. Rivero placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left.
A. Nassarelli could have scored for U.D. with his free kick after 39 minutes, but the visitors' keeper just managed to get a hand on it.
G. Wolfisberg was, after 41 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper
B. Hermosa made the save.
A. Nassarelli was just a finger's breadth away from an equaliser for U.D. with a strike from the left, but
S. Mons managed to ward the shot off for a corner.
The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 2.
Neither team were able to dominate possession this half.
Some fine movement on the left led to a Charito goal after 49 minutes, making it 1 - 3.
W. Domiter was noted down as the scorer.
It took several tries, but U.D. managed to break through on the left after 50 minutes, getting the ball to
M. Urbain who easily reduced the lead to make the score 2 - 3.
A drive down the left side allowed
H. Rivero to get in close and score another goal for Charito after 66 minutes, taking the score to 2 - 4.
The bench was restless, and with 78 minutes passed U.D.'s coach gave
A. Bevilacqua the opportunity the player had been hoping for.
P. Künzi reluctantly left the field.
Although the whole team were struggling to impress, U.D.'s
F. Palacios was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 80 minutes.
P. Abiusi was given a chance to change things around.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Charito, with 51 percent of the ball.
The most dominating U.D. player was without a doubt
A. Nassarelli.
On the other hand,
F. Cáceres's play was disheartening.
Charito's best player was
D. Selva.
À. Rosselló was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 2 - 4.
