Güiners 7 - 0 Jets
(382962573)

21-07-2012 15.00
25314 spectators arrived at
Babylon Arena, where weather conditions were pretty good for football.
Peter Eneborn was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Janick Verwoert and
Maxime Pascal.
Fans of both teams had been eagerly awaiting this
Madrid derby and were doing their best to outshout their opponents.
A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Güiners.
The following players had been chosen: bin Darus - Prokhorenkov, Roca, Korpics - Janota, Espinal, Florenz, Furini, Miňovský - Montoro, Chiguaicura.
Jets tactics involved an interesting 3-4-3 combination.
Starters: Bujeque - Escorza, Ruipérez, Vegas - Montaño, Mirandola, Gorgues, Tudor - Pedrosa, Flor, Tarragó.
Jets seemed to prefer attacking in the middle.
They were singing the praises of
N. Roca 7 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 1 - 0 to Güiners.
Güiners solidified their lead at the 8 minute mark, as
J. Chiguaicura dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 2 - 0.
After 22 minutes Güiners's
J. Montoro limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue.
26 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as
J. Montoro broke through, making the score 3 - 0 for Güiners.
At this point, it was obvious that the players of Güiners lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented.
Things were deteriorating for the away team as Güiners scored another to make it 4 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for
M. Espinal after 33 minutes.
The Güiners free kick 36 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of
J. Chiguaicura, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 5 - 0!
5 - 0 was the score after the first half.
Güiners claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 75 percent.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
F. Florenz from Güiners a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 55 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
With 67 minutes played, Güiners's
J. Montoro almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net.
Güiners managed to extend their lead to 6 - 0 when
J. Chiguaicura cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper.
That made three goals for
J. Chiguaicura and he was marked down for the hat trick.
A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Güiners's
A. Korpics increasing the lead to 7 - 0.
A scuffle developed as players from both sides clashed following a tussle in the centre of the field 74 minutes into the match. After regaining order and consulting his linesman, the referee called Jets's
M. Flor to one side and produced a red card for the player.
Güiners had most of the ball, with 80 percent of possession.
Most important Güiners player was
J. Chiguaicura.
On the other hand,
L. Miňovský's play was disheartening.
M. Tarragó performed admirably for Jets.
I. Escorza turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 7 - 0.
