Due to an all-day shower, 17846 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at El nuevo gasometro. Some fine passing in the middle of the pitch, carving open the away defence, should have led to a goal for FCPM, but J. Vinkeles's shot went over the bar. 0 - 1 was the score after the first half. Trufis claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 56 percent.

Some fine movement on the left led to a Trufis goal after 59 minutes, making it 0 - 2. A. Yarritu was noted down as the scorer. M. Solano had a hard time on the waterlogged pitch - his trademark technique was nowhere in sight today. FCPM didn't give in and with 87 minutes played R. Sever was able to make the score 1 - 2 after an attack on the right. FCPM's A. Drienyovszky made a successful breakthrough on the left after 88 minutes and should have levelled the score, but instead he clipped it over the bar. The referee signalled a penalty 89 minutes into the game following an offence which looked like it was outside the box. A. Szubert knocked it home to make the score 1 - 3. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Trufis, with 55 percent of the ball.

The most dominating FCPM player was without a doubt J. Sietes. S. Martínez Vara turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Trufis player was H. Haase. However, K. Szmulski made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 3.
