Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 18487 at Benito Greens Arenas today. Paul Besson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Tom Schmittmann and Daniele Bussmann. Benito.F.C decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. Starters: Escamilla - Carocci, Framboesa, Schacken - Akambi, Aasen, Jamali, Górtari, Ðurković - Peña Serrano, Menzinger.

A 3-4-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Redbull. They fielded: Dulce - Bozkurt, Pant, Guelfo - Cabeleira, catalá, Arce, Sanches - Campos-Molinas, Welver, Guimera.

Pressing was the tactic of the day for Benito.F.C. E. Peña Serrano gave Benito.F.C the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 1 - 0 22 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as E. Peña Serrano broke through, making the score 2 - 0 for Benito.F.C. W. Menzinger increased Benito.F.C's lead to 3 - 0 with a penalty spot cannonball. After this, you could see that the players of Benito.F.C were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Benito.F.C's M. Akambi was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box - E. Peña Serrano managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 4 - 0 after 32 minutes. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for E. Peña Serrano. Benito.F.C increased the lead as W. Menzinger struck to make the score 5 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. After 38 minutes Benito.F.C's E. Peña Serrano contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. Redbull had a great opportunity to score following a counterattack after 40 minutes, but F. Welver's shot from the left sailed high over the bar. The teams went for the halftime break at 5 - 0. Benito.F.C claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 61 percent.

62 minutes in, A. Cabeleira made an incredible run up the middle and nearly reduced the home side's lead, but C. Escamilla refused to let the ball slip by him. After 70 minutes, Redbull switched R. Campos-Molinas with O. Spitter, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. A bit later, Redbull's A. Guimera easily reduced the lead to 5 - 1 after a misunderstanding in the home side's central defence. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Benito.F.C's W. Menzinger increasing the lead to 6 - 1. That made three goals for W. Menzinger and he was marked down for the hat trick. Benito.F.C enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 61 percent of possession.

Benito.F.C's top performer was clearly K. Aasen. M. Akambi turned in a dismal performance, however. Redbull's best player was F. Welver. However, B. Sanches made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 6 - 1.
