devils clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could. The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of roto2's F. Jégou after 18 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 0 - 1 lead. roto2 came close to extending their lead as D. Podhorszky delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 20 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. devils's E. Blust had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 34 minutes having been played. C. Viamonte-Navarra was the replacement. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 39 minutes, roto2 did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, M. Zavadszky was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 0 - 2. Halftime score was 0 - 2. roto2 had most of the ball, with 61 percent of possession.

The home crowd cheered when, after 48 minutes, F. Dobbrunz's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. 55 minutes into the game, roto2 worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. D. Podhorszky received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 60 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 3. The roto2 fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. I. Perucha of devils received a yellow card after 68 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. roto2 increased their lead after 69 minutes when L. Last broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 4, much to the home crowd's dismay. The heat made it a terrible day for S. Clément, who seemed unable to keep up with the other players. The home crowd were delighted when C. Viamonte-Navarra scored with a header after an attack from the right, making the score 1 - 4. But did he use his hand? That'll be one for the pundits to talk about after the game, that's for sure! roto2 enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 59 percent of possession.

devils's top performer was clearly A. Tárnai. I. Perucha was a disappointment, however. The most dominating roto2 player was without a doubt F. Jégou. K. Karlsen turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 4.
