Kriendlhofer gave Inter the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 1 - 0 A. Lorch could have put Inter up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 27 minutes. What ever got into B. Pedroza, the crowd mumbled, as he suddenly struck a cross pass through his own defence - ending up right in front of Inter's A. Wardęcki, who easily put the ball away for 2 - 0 after 31 minutes. F. Malanowski's early cross saw the defenders caught out of position and the alert C. Masobello was able to pounce and roll the ball past the hapless goalkeeper to score for Inter. 3 - 0. The visitors got one back when J. Ormigo finished off a pass from the left and scored after 34 minutes. 3 - 1 was the score. F. Lorch could have increased the lead after 35 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. 3 - 1 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Inter, with 65 percent of the ball.

After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, E. Pili got himself booked. The manager of Inter was not happy. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Inter's F. Lorch increasing the lead to 4 - 1. The referee showed Inter's F. Malanowski the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. G. Frankenheim hit the corner kick straight to the keeper, but it was mishandled, giving Inter's F. Lorch an easy chance to knock it in for 5 - 1. After this, you could see that the players of Inter were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. With 86 minutes played, Inter's F. Malanowski almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. 87 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as G. Frankenheim broke through, making the score 6 - 1 for Inter. Inter's F. Malanowski increased the lead to 7 - 1, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 88 minutes. Inter's A. Licata left the field after 88 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was J. Kiilavuori. Inter claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 67 percent.

Inter's best player was C. Masobello. J. Kiilavuori on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating aReKuSu player was without a doubt P. Martínez Herrero. R. Monahan was a disappointment, however. The match ends 7 - 1.
