Nerozoumis almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. D. Pardo Jiménez left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 29 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. C. Grover was the replacement. W. Mandl's name was chanted throughout the stadium after he made a fantastic save from F. Gruilles's shot from the left 29 minutes into the match. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 0. charros enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 70 percent of possession.

The score became 2 - 0 at 52 minutes into the game, when charros were given a penalty which D. Strasser blasted straight down the middle giving the keeper no chance! charros solidified their lead at the 62 minute mark, as C. Grover dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 3 - 0. J. Montilla could have put charros up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 63 minutes. The charros players could smell victory in the air. W. Mandl wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for N. Calvo after 78 minutes. Bitlloch's right side looked dangerous after 84 minutes, as F. Desplá broke through. N. Calvo continued to stifle them, however, as he made the save look easy. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in charros's D. Strasser increasing the lead to 4 - 0. Confident in their lead, charros's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. 86 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as C. Grover broke through, making the score 5 - 0 for charros. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by charros, with 66 percent of the ball.

The most dominating charros player was without a doubt D. Strasser. C. Tapia was a disappointment, however. Bitlloch's best player was A. Santamaria. M. Amrani on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 5 - 0.
