The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 1. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Kirby, with 52 percent of the ball.

One of many good crosses from S. Perroni on the wing was received and skillfully taken care of by A. Eristain, who scored for Kirby. 1 - 2 Kirby's C. Llanos missed a penalty shot 58 minutes into the contest. The shot produced was way too weak, allowing the keeper to collect it at his own leisure. Font equalised after 61 minutes after a brilliantly placed penalty by D. Kierdziołek. After a fine move down the middle D. Haggenmüller nearly gave the home side a goal after 62 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. Font took the lead 73 minutes in, as J. Valdivia Bravo broke through on the left and put the 3 - 2 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper. The home team will be cursing A. Musetto for weeks; he finished off a great pass from the left, knocking it past the keeper without a problem. The match was level at 3 - 3 after 79 minutes. With 82 minutes played D. Haggenmüller almost put the home team one ahead on a cross coming in from the right, but the shot went just wide. Neither team was controlling the possession at this point in the match, with the stats showing a 50:50 split.

D. Haggenmüller performed admirably for Font. L. Piemontese was a disappointment, however. Most important Kirby player was A. Eristain. G. Zanzottera on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 3 - 3.
