Colilla 2 - 0 PORTMAN
(382993259)

14-07-2012 15.00
It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 22566 that came out to
Colilla F.C. Arena.
Gary Jackson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Gunnar Mikaelsson and
Adriano Peluso.
Colilla had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation.
The following players had been chosen: Amorós - Reinwald, Briciu, Asúa, Briones - Allewelt, Frullone, Dávila, Preisl - Leuchtmann, Torras.
PORTMAN tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
Lineup: Quartim - Vidanía, Glastra, Ścisło - Pešek, Cillanco, 祖辉 (Zuhui), Pinto, Schilder - Oltean, Liebert.
PORTMAN saw most attack opportunities on the wings.
Several players seemed a little dazed by the warm weather, and were repeatedly tricked by the clever and agile
C. Dávila.
At 8 minutes played,
R. Briones came in from the right with the intention of giving Colilla the lead, but his rocket of a shot rattled the crossbar.
R. Briones of Colilla received a yellow card after 15 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
Many thought
D. Leuchtmann ought to have been awarded a penalty 16 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around
E. Quartim after a determined run through the middle.
After 26 minutes,
D. Leuchtmann came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 1 - 0, giving Colilla the lead.
1 - 0 was the halftime score.
Colilla had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.
J. Ścisło didn't pace himself at all, and after a series of daring offensive runs he was too tired to help out in the defensive play.
After 50 minutes a well-practised indirect free kick routine by Colilla was easily anticipated by the defenders. The players forward were so well marked, they were left with few viable options.
Colilla increased the lead as
A. Torras struck to make the score 2 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper.
With 71 minutes played, Colilla's
A. Torras almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net.
The bench was restless, and with 73 minutes passed PORTMAN's coach gave
J. Toompere the opportunity the player had been hoping for.
B. Liebert reluctantly left the field.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Colilla, with 51 percent of the ball.
Most important Colilla player was
C. Briciu.
J. Amorós was a disappointment, however.
PORTMAN's best player was
A. Pinto.
J. Schilder turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 2 - 0.
