A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 19191 to Superfigu Arena. Jioah Clement was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Georg Vonbank and Sebastian Grzesik. A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Superfigu. They fielded: Dveilys - Bossman, Stopyra, de Sevilla - Zorrilla, Banjević, Goujat, Neagu, De Mol - Pando, Abraira.

F.C. started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Lineup: Carres - Brasil, Dändliker, Janfeshan - Moragues, Sucha, Oliva, Zähner, Fiesco - Biduedo, Ferrarini.

F.C. displayed their ability to play creatively. After 4 minutes, F.C. put themselves up 0 - 1, as E. Dändliker finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot. Z. Banjević of Superfigu received a yellow card after 27 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. H. Abraira hit the corner kick straight to the keeper, but it was mishandled, giving Superfigu's Z. Banjević an easy chance to knock it in for 1 - 1. After 37 minutes, L. Neagu came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 2 - 1, giving Superfigu the lead. Several players seemed a little dazed by the warm weather, and were repeatedly tricked by the clever and agile G. Pando. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Superfigu to 3 - 1 as Y. De Mol finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. It was 3 - 1 at the break. Superfigu had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.

The coach of Superfigu was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 46 minutes, R. Pérez García came on for Y. De Mol. G. Pando wanted to play on, but the Superfigu coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 46 minutes into the game by Ó. Batalla. The referee showed F.C.'s Z. Janfeshan the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The cannonball from 35 metres by F. Zorrilla of Superfigu was an impressive sight, but didn't make it into the net. F.C. certainly deserved a goal after some stunning play down the left, but A. Ferrarini just wasn't able to finish. It wasn't a good day at all for Z. Banjević. His powerful style of play just didn't fit the bill on this warm day. Z. Banjević could have increased the lead after 82 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. Against a lesser team, F.C. could very well have succeeded with their smart indirect free kick routine after 84 minutes. A trio of passes took the ball all the way past the defenders, but by then the intended recipient was already blocked off and the keeper could make a leisurely save. Superfigu put themselves up 4 - 1 when L. Neagu broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. This part of the game was a standoff between the teams in terms of possession.

The most dominating Superfigu player was without a doubt H. Abraira. However, S. Dveilys made a disastrous appearance. Most important F.C. player was E. Dändliker. N. Moragues was a disappointment, however. The match ends 4 - 1.
