The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 24019 had shown up at
cascalamasca world for the match.
Fernandinho Baretto was the appointed referee with assistance provided by

P. Ferriz had a good opportunity to give Dacios the lead as he charged down the right and struck the ball towards the top corner, but the home team's goalkeeper made the save.

D. Véliz came up the left side, but he struck the ball weakly and it went straight into the arms of
A. Lopes Cruz.
35 minutes into the match, Dacios nearly took the lead, as
M. Claesson broke through on the right.
A. Ahumada made the save, however.
37 minutes into the match Dacios's
M. Claesson head butted an opponent nastily, and so the referee sent him off immediately.
A loud groan was heard from the fans of cascalamasca, as
R. Šimec left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match.
T. van de Voorde took his place on the field.
H. Valtierra was ever so close to scoring after an excellent corner was beautifully flicked on by
D. Véliz, but the ball bounced off the post to safety.
Some great play up the middle by cascalamasca led to a chance for
T. van de Voorde to score after 42 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar.
The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 0.
Dacios had most of the ball, with 52 percent of possession.
After 77 minutes of play, the free-spirited
J. Bartošek decided to go for goal as he struck the ball from the corner of the pitch. The ball hit a defender in the face and bounced out of play.
The goal for 0 - 1 was a funny story: after 78 minutes the seemingly nonchalant lob from Dacios's
D. Dolius landed at the feet of
J. Bartošek who sidefooted it into the net - nice goal!
J. Miranda could have put his team up another goal 82 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post.
Dacios claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 60 percent.
cascalamasca's best player was
T. van de Voorde.
However,
H. Valtierra made a disastrous appearance.
The most dominating Dacios player was without a doubt
M. Matalí.
P. Albi was a disappointment, however.
