Due to an all-day shower, 15781 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at Olimpic del Clot. F.C.BRNY took the lead 20 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as L. Estúñiga elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. M. Häggström did not have a good day today, often losing his footing on the muddy pitch. A great save by keeper J. Zayas-Bazán after 24 minutes kept the visitors in the game after G. Negrini struck from the left with a real cannonball. The home side's T. Lorusso came close to extending the lead 25 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but J. Zayas-Bazán managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 0. Marley claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 51 percent.

A. Neubauer was uncomfortable with the soggy pitch as he couldn't move the ball around with his usual grace. The crowd was silenced 61 minutes into the match as the visiting team's J. Santisteban came in from the left, levelling the score to 1 - 1. After 73 minutes of play, T. Lorusso gave the home team a 2 - 1 lead after an attack coming in from the right. Possession in this half belonged to Marley, who controlled the ball 52 percent of the time.

Most important F.C.BRNY player was B. Šárocký. T. Lorusso was a disappointment, however. Marley's top performer was clearly E. Amsberg. J. Zayas-Bazán turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 2 - 1.
