Clear skies welcomed the 26345 spectators who had made their way to COLISEUM BETIS ARENA. Xavier Gómez Dávila was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Mihael Mika and Sepp Mitscherlich. Mauri Argudo the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. In a fantastic display of determination, Txolopote's M. Villa forced himself to his feet, after an opponent viciously knocked him down. Many thought F. Gotanegra ought to have been awarded a penalty 22 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around J. Llorca after a determined run through the middle. When S. Mauri Argudo made yet another studs-first tackle after 29 minutes, the referee was obliged to book the BETIS1907 player for the second time, sending him off the pitch. After 37 minutes, BETIS1907's Z. Redetzky fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! 0 - 1 was the score with 38 minutes played, after R. Negreiros cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Txolopote. Due to some great work on the right wing BETIS1907's G. Fiorica was able to even the score after 42 minutes to make the score 1 - 1. Txolopote had to make a substitution after 43 minutes. J. Lapuente Mínguez limped off the field and was replaced by M. Soddi. J. Llorca was the new captain of Txolopote - handed the armband by the departing player. The BETIS1907 free kick 44 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of J. Uzes, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 2 - 1! The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 1. BETIS1907 enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 63 percent of possession.

After 60 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and J. Zvoníček gave the BETIS1907 supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 3 - 1. By now, the players in BETIS1907 felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. J. Uzes left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 70 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. A. Gutknecht was the replacement. Cheers filled the stadium as J. Zvoníček broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 4 - 1 to BETIS1907. The crowd roared its approval when Z. Redetzky somehow managed to block a shot which seemed to be a certain goal by Txolopote's G. Ilurieta 76 minutes into the game. 78 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as J. Maitreepun broke through, making the score 5 - 1 for BETIS1907. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave M. Soddi from Txolopote a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 86 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! BETIS1907 had most of the ball, with 64 percent of possession.

R. Arobes performed admirably for BETIS1907. However, Z. Redetzky made a disastrous appearance. Txolopote's best player was S. Corona. M. Soddi was a disappointment, however. The match ends 5 - 1.
