Angulo almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. A.B.T. broke through on the left 32 minutes into the game, with W. Bokszczanin firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 2 - 1 lead. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 35 minutes, A.B.T. did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, W. Bokszczanin was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 3 - 1. At this point, it was obvious that the players of A.B.T. lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. ultima players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. With 37 minutes played, M. Birnbacher had a fantastic opportunity to reply but his shot flew harmlessly into the side-netting of the goal. Halftime score was 3 - 1. Possession in this half belonged to ultima, who controlled the ball 64 percent of the time.

The visitors got one back when P. Angulo finished off a pass from the left and scored after 62 minutes. 3 - 2 was the score. The A.B.T. players could smell victory in the air. S.
