Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 10374 at
C.E.F.A. Nova Creu Alta today.
Nikolay Glavin was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Marius Wie and
Manolo Velar.
The derby had been the talk of
Barcelona all week and fans of both teams could be seen throughout the stadium.
C.E.F.A. decided to use a 4-4-2 set up.
The following players had been chosen: González - Blommers, Waltert, Spinozzi, Sobek - Nette, Vieyra, Stein, Irbrant - Messina, Zatón.
Crackovia tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
The following players took the field: Larguier - Vandeputte, Julmy, Anđelinić - Mombrú, Saulītis, Simão Silva, Turchetti, La Losa - Baquerín, Breaz.

A. Simão Silva put the ball away for 0 - 1.
Unfortunately for C.E.F.A.,
J. Blommers suffered a concussion after 21 minutes and had to be taken for tests. The coach had his head in his hands after realising he could not send a replacement onto the pitch, and the team had to continue a man short.
After 32 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for
S. Breaz who increased Crackovia's lead to 0 - 2.
With 36 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed
E. Baquerín of Crackovia to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 3.
Confident in their lead, Crackovia's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it.
L. Winderl was called on to replace Crackovia's
B. La Losa after 37 minutes following a nasty collision.
S. Breaz received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 40 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 4. The Crackovia fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early.
0 - 4 was the halftime score.

62 minutes into the match,
E. Baquerín came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide.
After 68 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave
J. Mombrú a chance to increase the lead for Crackovia, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 5.
After 75 minutes, Crackovia's
J. Mombrú burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 6.
A drive down the left side allowed
E. Baquerín to get in close and score another goal for Crackovia after 78 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 7.
The visitors'
J. Mombrú took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 87 minutes into the match. 0 - 8 for Crackovia.
This third goal completed a hattrick for
J. Mombrú.

The match ends 0 - 8.
