Quatretonda were relying on their ability to counter-attack. K. Johansen caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 8 minutes. This gave Quatretonda the 1 - 0 lead. The visitors' equaliser seemed sure to come after 9 minutes, following a one on one situation around the left hand side of the goal area, but Z. Skierski got the best of it, blocking the shot from J. Bresson. As P. Delgado had, completely unprovoked, swept the legs out from under an opponent in front of a linesman, the referee gave the Quatretonda player a red card without batting an eyelid. With 21 minutes played, T. Märkl of Gasolina fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Gasolina had a chance to level the score as M. Kheil suddenly found himself free in the middle of the box with only the keeper to beat, but he misjudged the finish, and only managed to hit the bar. 1 - 0 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to Gasolina, who controlled the ball 61 percent of the time.

With 62 minutes played, S. Özbağ came in from the right and could have evened the score, but the defenders successfully repelled the attack by Gasolina. Quatretonda had a great opportunity to score following a counterattack after 69 minutes, but P. Trakarn-nitidharma's shot from the left sailed high over the bar. R. Obiegło made a run for the goal 81 minutes into the game but the home team's left back managed to sort the situation out in the end. B. Anjo hit the corner kick straight to the keeper, but it was mishandled, giving Gasolina's O. Boutemy an easy chance to knock it in for 1 - 1. Quatretonda almost scored after a counterattack 89 minutes into the match, but M. Guiteras took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net. Given a free kick in a difficult position after 89 minutes, Gasolina tried a variation that they had practised in training. The kick was sent into the area just in front of the keeper. However, the defence were on their toes and allowed no space for a finish. Gasolina enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 61 percent of possession.

P. Trakarn-nitidharma performed admirably for Quatretonda. However, J. Losada Castro made a disastrous appearance. Gasolina's top performer was clearly J. Bresson. E. Gegunde turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 1.
