Dark skies made the crowd of 12201 at uno+uno arena a little nervous, but the rain held off. uno+uno immediately set off using their skill at pressing their opponents. Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for thepayasos. R. Piñal had a good opportunity to give thepayasos the lead as he charged down the right and struck the ball towards the top corner, but the home team's goalkeeper made the save. uno+uno's F. Pujol had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 12 minutes having been played. M. Ciufi was the replacement. 15 minutes into the match, the visiting thepayasos made the score 0 - 1 after E. Presegué executed a perfect free kick. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, T. Korbel got himself booked. The manager of uno+uno was not happy. uno+uno's G. Cioli made an attempt at equalising 17 minutes into the match, coming in from the right, but the ball hit the post and the defence easily cleared the rebound. After the ball was lifted in from the left, H. Cristian was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 30 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 1. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by thepayasos, with 68 percent of the ball.

H. Cristian of thepayasos took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 47 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 2. The players of thepayasos now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. 61 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 3 as E. Presegué finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. After 73 minutes, uno+uno switched G. Cioli with M. Barbier, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. The uno+uno captaincy was handed to M. Tiikkaja. thepayasos enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 64 percent of possession.
