The Algeciras free kick 50 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of L. Paterson slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 4 - 1, 75 minutes into the game. After 79 minutes, a long pass from Algeciras's C. Fissore caught the defence out of position. J. Cerón collected the ball, and with the goal at his mercy calmly rolled the ball just inside the post. 4 - 2. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. N. Le Berre squirmed through their central defence after 86 minutes, increasing the lead to 5 - 2. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by futbol, with 61 percent of the ball.

futbol's best player was J. Taylor. On the other hand, E. Cantone's play was disheartening. A. Nava performed admirably for Algeciras. However, C. Fissore made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 5 - 2.
