It had rained all day, but 11786 hardy fans still made it out to Albaida. Björn Falkensten was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Enrico Cabiddu and Giacomo Brancato. Albaida started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. Lineup: Máximo - Manolache, Intimayta, Wehrle, Koolhoven - Maratea, Jogutis, Davies, Guijt - Karaplis, Clapés.

Albaida saw most attack opportunities on the wings. 18 minutes in, Oxigen's F. Suárez received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 20 minutes into the match, and F. Camós wasn't about to let it go by. The Oxigen free kick 31 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of J. Sierra, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 0 - 2! At this point, it was obvious that the players of Oxigen lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. With 33 minutes played, S. Morente of Oxigen fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Oxigen's D. Malavé left the field after 38 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was S. Crusellas. The Oxigen captaincy was handed to J. Guillén de Fitero. Oxigen's S. Crusellas startled A. Abián with an unexpected pass. Unfortunately, the receiver was too stunned by the play to convert the perfect setup into a goal. With the scoreboard showing that 40 minutes had been played, Oxigen nearly put themselves up another goal after A. Abián came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. 0 - 2 was the score after the first half. Oxigen claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 58 percent.

62 minutes into the game, Oxigen were awarded a penalty and J. Guillén de Fitero was able to increase the visitors' lead to 0 - 3 rolling the ball in by the right post. Albaida's S. Manolache got himself booked for a foul. Unfortunately for Oxigen, J. Guillén de Fitero was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field. F. Echeverría replaced him. F. Echeverría was handed the Oxigen captain's armband. Possession in this half belonged to Oxigen, who controlled the ball 58 percent of the time.

The most dominating Albaida player was without a doubt M. Jogutis. However, M. Máximo made a disastrous appearance. Most important Oxigen player was F. Suárez. S. Morente was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 3.
