Vilallonga's free kick would have found the back of the net to tie the game for JefeWiggum, but not today - the visitors' keeper displayed extraordinary reflexes as he blocked the shot harmlessly to the side. After 41 minutes of play, R. Loinaz evened things up for JefeWiggum with an impressive goal coming up the middle. 2 - 2. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave R. Fernández from JefeWiggum a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 42 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! 2 - 2 was the halftime score. JefeWiggum had most of the ball, with 58 percent of possession.

After some beautiful movement down the left wing, V. Joseph scored for JefeWiggum putting them ahead 3 - 2, after 64 minutes. realcougar's J. Hämmerling refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 65 minutes. A. Vilallonga increased JefeWiggum's lead to 4 - 2 with a penalty spot cannonball. The players of JefeWiggum now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. With 81 minutes played, G. Inurrieta had a fantastic opportunity to reply but his shot flew harmlessly into the side-netting of the goal. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by JefeWiggum, with 57 percent of the ball.

JefeWiggum's top performer was clearly R. Čuikinas. R. Fernández was a disappointment, however. J. Lenaers performed admirably for realcougar. P. Lysau on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 2.
