Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 20493 at Catalunya today. Mikael Pettersson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Roni Zenger and Janus Vermeer. Rastafari mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. Today, F.C.Lillet's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks. At 3 minutes played, F. Hoepke came in from the right with the intention of giving Rastafari the lead, but his rocket of a shot rattled the crossbar. They were singing the praises of A. Hassan 8 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 1 - 0 to Rastafari. Rastafari's C. Le Névé saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 22 minutes. The visitors' A. Larsson was alert after a cross coming in from the left, levelling the score at 1 - 1 after 24 minutes. The home crowd breathed a collective sigh of relief when G. Friargiu was unable to put the ball in the net after his show of skill down the left 35 minutes into the match. He was seen beating the pitch in frustration at missing such a good chance to give his team the lead! 1 - 1 was the score after the first half. Rastafari had most of the ball, with 65 percent of possession.

After 68 minutes of play, A. Hassan gave the home team a 2 - 1 lead after an attack coming in from the right. After 76 minutes, F.C.Lillet's A. Larsson fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! Rastafari managed to extend their lead to 3 - 1 when X. Xul cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. After 78 minutes, C. Aramendia replied with a fantastic free kick and the ball went in off the bar. 3 - 2. N. Grotle should probably have put his team up another goal after 79 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by K. Betzold kept the visitors in the game. With 82 minutes played, A. Larsson of F.C.Lillet fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Rastafari, with 60 percent of the ball.

The most dominating Rastafari player was without a doubt X. Xul. On the other hand, C. Holz's play was disheartening. F.C.Lillet's best player was A. Larsson. However, K. Betzold made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 2.
