Woigk was the scorer. 15 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 2 as J. Iruñela finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. Futbol increased their lead after 17 minutes when J. Iruñela broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 3, much to the home crowd's dismay. By now, the players in Futbol felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. With the scoreboard showing that 37 minutes had been played, Futbol nearly put themselves up another goal after R. Regidor Reyes came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. Halftime score was 0 - 3. Futbol had most of the ball, with 64 percent of possession.

Had it not been for one of the home defenders, G. Bajna would have put Futbol up another goal 59 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. The Futbol players could smell victory in the air. J. Iruñela wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for U. Yoon after 60 minutes. After 64 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for U. Yoon who increased Futbol's lead to 0 - 4. 68 minutes into the game a free kick by M. Broman found its way through the home side's poorly assembled defensive formation, making Futbol's lead 0 - 5. M. Villamizar wanted to play on, but the Futbol coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 70 minutes into the game by O. Golpe. B. Klammer increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 6. The coach of Futbol was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up.
