Willhelm Nietmann was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Kristian Løvelund and Esmundo Cáceres. A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for YesWK. An opportunity to take the lead after 8 minutes was wasted as Oier's R. Forcas missed a penalty, firing wide of the mark. F. Ehningen looked great 27 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors' P. Pineda. The visiting R. Forcas was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 28 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 0 - 1 was the score. After 34 minutes YesWK tried to exploit their counterattacking skills, unfortunately, P. Babeiro's shot sailed wide after his break down the right. 0 - 1 was the halftime score. Oier had most of the ball, with 68 percent of possession.

The referee showed Oier's M. Pérez Frías the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Due to a severely mistimed tackle, J. Fromista of YesWK spent some time on the grass writhing in agony before he could get up and continue the game. D. Damjanov was the first to reach the corner kick, but his header was blocked by the keeper. However, YesWK's P. Ibarguen managed to get hold of the rebound and tucked the ball into the empty net. 1 - 1 After 70 minutes, Oier put themselves up 1 - 2, as M. Pérez Frías finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot. G. Borstell came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over F. Ehningen but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. Some fine movement on the left led to a Oier goal after 77 minutes, making it 1 - 3. R. Forcas was noted down as the scorer. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Oier, with 68 percent of the ball.

Most important YesWK player was J. Fromista. P. Babeiro on the other hand, had a terrible day. Oier's best player was G. Borstell. J. Šoblickas turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 3.
