Dark skies made the crowd of 11943 at Umbrella Corporation Stadium a little nervous, but the rain held off. Albert Folguera was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Sylvester Hutter and Robert Hernán-Gómez. A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Raccoon. 2 minutes into the match and the home team took a 1 - 0 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for Raccoon was K. Steenberger. After 6 minutes a well-practised indirect free kick routine by Raccoon was easily anticipated by the defenders. The players forward were so well marked, they were left with few viable options. The visitors refused to give in and, after 7 minutes, G. Van Hamme evened things up as he finished off a perfect pass from the right. 1 - 1 With 8 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 2 - 1 lead as A. Saucedo flipped the ball in after a cross from the right. The visitors almost came back with an equaliser 15 minutes into the match after a good combination down the middle, but when C. Morillo tried to finish the attack, he couldn't deliver the shot hard enough to seriously challenge the keeper. G. Kleinschmidt was first to reach a ball launched long through the center from Raccoon's defence 16 minutes into the game. He managed to keep his cool and beat the goalkeeper to make the score 3 - 1. The teams went for the halftime break at 3 - 1. Possession in this half belonged to Raccoon, who controlled the ball 52 percent of the time.

Liverhel needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 46 minutes I. Maestre Cozar made way for F. Vilalba. Raccoon's D. Getimis left the field after 61 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was A. Kunz. The bench was restless, and with 65 minutes passed Liverhel's coach gave L. Zogjani the opportunity the player had been hoping for. K. Bakken reluctantly left the field. The Raccoon players could smell victory in the air. G. Kleinschmidt wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for K. Vahidi after 69 minutes. With 70 minutes played, the Liverhel coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. N. Moreira came on, G. Lletget had to leave the fray. The crowd roared its approval when S. Południak somehow managed to block a shot which seemed to be a certain goal by Liverhel's G. Van Hamme 71 minutes into the game. The coach of Raccoon was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 74 minutes, F. Ohmes came on for A. Allegrini. A bit later, Liverhel's C. Morillo easily reduced the lead to 3 - 2 after a misunderstanding in the home side's central defence. The crowd was silenced 79 minutes into the match as the visiting team's L. Zogjani came in from the left, levelling the score to 3 - 3. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Liverhel, with 55 percent of the ball.

The most dominating Raccoon player was without a doubt F. Ohmes. K. Vahidi was a disappointment, however. Liverhel's best player was G. Van Hamme. F. Vilalba on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 3 - 3.
