Bakken, making a fantastic play that nearly had Liverhel take the lead after 18 minutes, but K. Kühlböck preserved the tie. Hippie's U. Comas tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. 30 minutes in, Hippie appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only passable. C. Morillo of Liverhel was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. 0 - 0 was the score after the first half. Hippie claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 55 percent.

During the break, Hippie's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to solid organisation. 53 minutes into the game, A. Folgarolas had a great chance to put his team ahead, but his kick from the left went wide. 70 minutes into the game, Hippie had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to inadequate. Possession in this half belonged to Liverhel, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

Hippie's best player was H. Reve. G. Figini on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Liverhel player was G. Van Hamme. P. Amieiro turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 0.
