The Coperativa players could smell victory in the air. F. Sloos wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for E. Enseña after 48 minutes. T. Aumayr could have increased the lead after 50 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. Coperativa were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. J. Briffaut could have put Coperativa up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 61 minutes. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave A. Pousinho from Coperativa a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 66 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Content with how the game was proceeding, the Coperativa coach let R. Miertschink replace J. Briffaut after 67 minutes. Ł. Kos left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 68 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. Z. Inhoff was the replacement. A great save by keeper E. Monduzzi after 79 minutes kept the visitors in the game after H. Boineburg struck from the left with a real cannonball. Coperativa claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 61 percent.
