(383066631)

28-07-2012 15.10
It had rained all day, but 23581 hardy fans still made it out to
Lusitania Arena.
Jarle Solberg was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Sylvain Andrieu and
Niklas Ivarsson.
DreamTeam2002 tactics involved an interesting 3-4-3 combination.
Starters: Gianella - Dantec, Puigcerver, Biddau - Hacib, Abufa, Baagø, Depetris - Carlsson, Silva, Alma Negra.
GyN started off with a 3-4-3 lineup.
The following players had been chosen: Refsland - Peručić, Ajofrín, Cornelis - Batallé, Delamarre, Cimpu, Balogh - Andresano, Ezzitouni, Venczel.
DreamTeam2002 used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings.
DreamTeam2002 took the lead 4 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as
N. Baagø elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar.
Thighs bulging,
F. Cornelis charged past the weaker players, seemingly oblivious to the rain.
DreamTeam2002's
A. Silva saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 21 minutes.
Cheers filled the stadium as
H. Hacib broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 2 - 0 to DreamTeam2002.
H. Hacib had a fantastic opportunity to put DreamTeam2002 up another goal 36 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar.
The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 0.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by DreamTeam2002, with 65 percent of the ball.
Although the whole team were struggling to impress, GyN's
I. Andresano was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 67 minutes.
M. Torroja was given a chance to change things around.
With 74 minutes played, the GyN coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around.
F. Cabale came on,
P. Batallé had to leave the fray.
F. Cornelis hit the corner kick straight to the keeper, but it was mishandled, giving GyN's
M. Torroja an easy chance to knock it in for 2 - 1.
Against a lesser team, DreamTeam2002 could very well have succeeded with their smart indirect free kick routine after 75 minutes. A trio of passes took the ball all the way past the defenders, but by then the intended recipient was already blocked off and the keeper could make a leisurely save.
DreamTeam2002's
F. Biddau increased the lead to 3 - 1, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 78 minutes.
The players of DreamTeam2002 now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle.
There was concern in the stands when, at the 83 minute mark, DreamTeam2002's
H. Hacib hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch.
DreamTeam2002 had most of the ball, with 64 percent of possession.
Most important DreamTeam2002 player was
E. Alma Negra.
F. Gianella turned in a dismal performance, however.
GyN's top performer was clearly
K. Venczel.
On the other hand,
V. Ajofrín's play was disheartening.
The match ends 3 - 1.
