After a fatal mistake from the away team's right side defence 20 minutes into the match, an alert N. Kyburz bagged the ball for Perceiana, levelling the score to 1 - 1. With 24 minutes played R. Étienne almost put the home team one ahead on a cross coming in from the right, but the shot went just wide. 1 - 1 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Perceiana, with 58 percent of the ball.

The crowd groaned its disapproval when N. Kyburz missed a free kick that would have given Perceiana the lead after 54 minutes. 60 minutes into the game, M. Demiček had a great chance to put his team ahead, but his kick from the left went wide. After 72 minutes Nastic's A. Drastík limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. 73 minutes had elapsed when a great chance for Perceiana to take the lead after a good cross from the right found F. Cardoso alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post. E. Perelman was first to reach a ball launched long through the center from Nastic's defence 74 minutes into the game.
