E. Barrenechea dispatched a majestic long shot 68 minutes into the match, but missed the goal by a few metres. marismas were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. The home side's B. Regoli came close to extending the lead 70 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but M. Camaro managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. A. Parino had a fantastic opportunity to put marismas up another goal 72 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. A. Domínguez of SDLR was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, SDLR's E. Sáinz San Miguel was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 75 minutes. J. Mata Luque was given a chance to change things around. F. Buades wasn't much help defensively. His energy-consuming forward runs proved quite costly in the oppressive heat. marismas had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. marismas put themselves up 2 - 0 when S. Croitoru broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. The visitors replied 79 minutes into the game, reducing the home side's lead to 2 - 1, as D. Sánchez Aguado dashed up the middle, easily lobbing the ball over the home team's keeper. With 80 minutes played, the SDLR coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. A.
