Pepito 4 - 0 getafe
(383123462)

07-07-2012 15.15
Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 14033 to
Solomillo al Queso.
Kjell Røkeberg was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Carl Reckow and
Paulo Casal.
Pepito had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
Lineup: Fitzgibbon - bin Ahmad, Tera, Maduzia - Aenspeck, Peyerl, Olejníček, André, De Vanna - Fritz, Regata.
A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for getafe.
The following players took the field: Ścibek - Knauff, Inostroza, Lindenthaler, Robin - Bosmans, Osuna, Remy, Soldatović - Ćurković, Adhikari.
After 14 minutes, the home side was awarded a penalty. The visitors protested wildly but the referee was adamant.
J. Regata easily put the ball away to give the lead to Pepito. 1 - 0
A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Pepito to 2 - 0 as
G. De Vanna finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle.
J. Regata had a fantastic opportunity to put Pepito up another goal 27 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar.
With 33 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience,
V. Olejníček needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed.
Pepito's
J. Regata saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 38 minutes.
V. Tera increased the lead for Pepito to 3 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it!
3 - 0 was the score after the first half.
Possession in this half belonged to Pepito, who controlled the ball 73 percent of the time.
As
T. André had, completely unprovoked, swept the legs out from under an opponent in front of a linesman, the referee gave the Pepito player a red card without batting an eyelid.
N. Remy of getafe had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game.
G. Jiménez came in to finish the match.
Pepito put themselves up 4 - 0 when
A. bin Ahmad broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake.
The players of Pepito now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle.
Pepito's
D. Peyerl had an excellent opportunity after 80 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles!
Pepito claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 72 percent.
Pepito's top performer was clearly
J. Regata.
On the other hand,
C. Aenspeck's play was disheartening.
getafe's best player was
A. Ścibek.
G. Jiménez was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 4 - 0.
