Clear skies welcomed the 20000 spectators who had made their way to
El Container.
Jonathan Büttiker was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Melchior Horner and
Josias Müller.
Lastres had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
Lineup: Galeno - Ekşi, Koetsier, Skelton - Speičys, Kosiak, Dellsperger, Gravić, Kim - Sarró, Lesueur.
Jutta tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
They fielded: Rosenvinge - Martínez Rico, Delfó, Amaya - Frigola, Zwilling, Dima, Faquel, Girgós - Barba, Benedetto.
Jutta saw most attack opportunities on the wings.
34 minutes into the game, a swerving free kick by
R. Skelton almost resulted in the home team taking the lead, but the shot glanced harmlessly off the frame of the goal.
Lastres broke through on the left 40 minutes into the game, with
J. Kim firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 1 - 0 lead.
R. Skelton's curling free kick almost found the goal for Lastres, but the visitors' keeper somehow managed to get ahold of it.
It was obvious that Jutta had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle.
Jutta almost scored after a swift counterattack 43 minutes into the game, but
A. Barba put the shot from the left flank just outside the goal.
1 - 0 was the halftime score.
Possession in this half belonged to Lastres, who controlled the ball 58 percent of the time.
47 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as
E. Gravić broke through, making the score 2 - 0 for Lastres.
Lastres's
J. Kim got himself booked for a foul.
Lastres's
A. Lesueur increased the lead to 3 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 64 minutes.
R. Skelton of Lastres was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle.
Things were deteriorating for the away team as Lastres scored another to make it 4 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for
R. Dellsperger after 80 minutes.
At this point, it was obvious that the players of Lastres lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented.
Lastres managed to extend their lead to 5 - 0 when
A. Lesueur cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
M. Dima from Jutta a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 82 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
After 83 minutes a well-practised indirect free kick routine by Jutta was easily anticipated by the defenders. The players forward were so well marked, they were left with few viable options.
Lastres enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 56 percent of possession.
A. Lesueur performed admirably for Lastres.
On the other hand,
J. Speičys's play was disheartening.
Jutta's top performer was clearly
S. Benedetto.
J. Rosenvinge turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 5 - 0.
