Clear skies welcomed the 13007 spectators who had made their way to
GasalnaS.
Stavros Diamantopoulos was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Helge Olsen and
Indrek Kartau.
Pollastre tactics involved an interesting 5-3-2 combination.

TarracoPower saw most attack opportunities on the wings.

This was a good period for the visitors, with several opportunities to take the lead, particularly when
R. Haslinger slipped through the defence on the right to come up alone against
A. Pietzonka, but the home side's keeper showed his lightning reflexes.
B. Lilliu acted with superior experience when, 23 minutes into the match, he predicted a pass, intercepted it and then finished off with a goal. 0 - 1 for TarracoPower!
The pressing tactics used by Pollastre were successful as the ball remained close to the half way line at all times.

The TarracoPower players could smell victory in the air.

66 minutes into the game, TarracoPower worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch.
C. Tuvner made a superb strike after 67 minutes with a shot straight in front of the goal after a long ball through the middle, but one of the visitors' defenders got a foot in at the last second and warded it off for a corner.
Attacking on the wings was the choice for TarracoPower, and they were successfully passing the ball from the middle to the wings to attack.
With 68 minutes played, TarracoPower put themselves up 0 - 2 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was

With 73 minutes played, the Pollastre coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around.
