By now, the players in LCF felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. S. Żabicki of LCF was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. Valencia_08 had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. With 24 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock, Valencia_08 showed some good skill and were able to reduce the score to 2 - 1 when E. Alberzoni got past the home side's central defenders right in front of the goal. Halftime score was 2 - 1. LCF had most of the ball, with 60 percent of possession.

R. Embil should probably have put his team up another goal after 62 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by R. Ränzelgasse kept the visitors in the game. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Valencia_08, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. After 63 minutes, the visitors levelled the scores after J. Parenza made it through the middle and struck home to make it 2 - 2. Valencia_08's F. Mereu was shown a yellow card after 67 minutes for slicing down an opponent. M. Năstase's knee will be throbbing for days, but thankfully for LCF, he bravely continued in the match. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 69 minutes, LCF did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, F. Sánchez Paniagua was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 3 - 2. LCF put in a good effort on the right, but F. Sánchez Paniagua saw his volley fly wide of the mark 70 minutes into the game. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by LCF, with 60 percent of the ball.

The most dominating LCF player was without a doubt H. Farthofer. On the other hand, A. Czapla's play was disheartening. R. Amstutz performed admirably for Valencia_08. However, J. Parenza made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 2.
