Calimano, after finding himself dashing down on goal from the left with only the keeper to beat, sliced his shot horribly wide. 24 minutes in, Bambinos's I. Calimano received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Macarraca were forced into a substitution as C. Camas couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing M. Bordón to come in off the bench. Macarraca had a chance to take the lead after M. Laserna's dazzling drive up the left, but the opportunity fizzled out as his shot went just over the bar after 31 minutes. After 35 minutes, Bambinos's M. Marques Leal made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. I. Calimano of Bambinos got sent off for kicking the ball after the whistle, a completely uncalled for move, earning him his second yellow card of the game. It was 0 - 1 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Bambinos, with 67 percent of the ball.

C. Vila wanted to play on, but the Bambinos coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 60 minutes into the game by D. Lacalle Moreno. The Bambinos players could smell victory in the air. C. Blancafort wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for L. Szívós after 60 minutes. The referee showed Bambinos's Y. Vanderperre the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Bambinos's Y. Galet left the field after 68 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was G. Poppi. D. Lacalle Moreno became the new Bambinos captain. Some things can only be learned through experience, and M. Marques Leal should take his lesson to heart after nearly gifting Macarraca a goal with 77 minutes of the match played. Á. Horváth could have put his team up another goal 79 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post. A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from L. Szívós after 83 minutes, and prevented Bambinos from going up another goal. With the clock showing 84 minutes played, D. Casajuana equalised for Macarraca after curling a free kick around the defensive wall to make the score 1 - 1. Against a lesser team, Bambinos could very well have succeeded with their smart indirect free kick routine after 87 minutes. A trio of passes took the ball all the way past the defenders, but by then the intended recipient was already blocked off and the keeper could make a leisurely save. Bambinos had most of the ball, with 61 percent of possession.

M. Laserna performed admirably for Macarraca. However, M. Bordón made a disastrous appearance. Bambinos's best player was M. Marques Leal. G. Poppi was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 1.
