(383164916)

28-07-2012 15.40
5630 punters turned up at
Vilafr, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came.
Stefan García was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Ishrat Bhatti and
Reno Stagg.
ADAI tactics involved an interesting 4-5-1 combination.
The following players had been chosen: Xuste - Adriaenssens, Egues, Rautio, Righini - Günzel, Bay, Hegger, Jaromin, Heeren - Villalaúd.
Louzaregos had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
The following players took the field: Obojski - Rico Garrido, Bordera, Tichon - Calva, Memminger, Freytag, Kočař, Eilersen - Giance, Val Gómez.
Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for ADAI.
The wings were the focus of most of Louzaregos's attacks today.
A well placed corner kick from
J. Adriaenssens was followed by
E. Egues's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for ADAI, the score now 1 - 0.
The home crowd was dismayed when the referee called a penalty for Louzaregos after 4 minutes.
I. Val Gómez calmly took the shot and scored. The game was level at 1 - 1.
ADAI made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left
K. Heeren completely alone with keeper
M. Obojski, who made a spectacular block.
J. Rico Garrido had a good try after 24 minutes, coming in on a fine move from the left, but the ball went wide.
The Louzaregos free kick 25 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of
A. Memminger, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 1 - 2!
After the ball was lifted in from the left,
J. Bordera was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 32 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration.
ADAI almost scored after a counterattack 33 minutes into the match, but
C. Villalaúd took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net.
The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 2.
Louzaregos had most of the ball, with 55 percent of possession.
It was obvious that Louzaregos had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle.
A. Xuste got a fingertip on
J. Rico Garrido's shot from the left 54 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal.
65 minutes into the game, Louzaregos worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch.
With 75 minutes played, Louzaregos put themselves up 1 - 3 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was
Q. Freytag.
By now, the players in Louzaregos felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward.
After 77 minutes, ADAI used a short break in the game to take new instructions from their coach.
ADAI refused to be intimidated and, breaking through the middle,
C. Jaromin managed to slip the ball home for 2 - 3.
Louzaregos enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.
ADAI's best player was
C. Villalaúd.
On the other hand,
A. Xuste's play was disheartening.
Most important Louzaregos player was
J. Kočař.
M. Obojski was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 2 - 3.
