Madrid! 1 - 2 cazadores (383166627)

Clear skies welcomed the 3583 spectators who had made their way to Real Madrid! <3 Arena. Per B. Larsson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Rüzgar Günbey and Jens Schultheiß. A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Madrid!. Starters: Agiregi - Merino, Mihăescu, Mañeru, Güáqueta - Caldentey, Grau, Orotegi, Udaeta - Mariano Romero, Masferrer.

cazadores tactics involved an interesting 3-4-3 combination. They fielded: Villatoro - Ardila, Wisak-Gradinger, Ingrassia - Cortadillo, Salmi, Rofes, Dotres - Yordanov, Cărăvan, Nandino.

cazadores seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. J. Agiregi looked great 11 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors' F. Wisak-Gradinger. The referee showed cazadores's S. Nandino the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. 41 minutes into the game, cazadores seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a solid level of organisation. 42 minutes in, cazadores appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only solid. Halftime score was 0 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to cazadores, who controlled the ball 59 percent of the time.

A review of the gameplan helped cazadores get back to a solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. Madrid! broke through on the left 48 minutes into the game, with I. Orotegi firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 1 - 0 lead. The visitors kept the pressure on to tie the game when, after 54 minutes, J. Cortadillo broke through the centre and found himself alone with the keeper. J. Agiregi made a great block, though. N. Caldentey could have increased the lead after 59 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, N. Caldentey got himself booked. The manager of Madrid! was not happy. After 64 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as cazadores found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to inadequate. The crowd was silenced 70 minutes into the match as the visiting team's F. Wisak-Gradinger came in from the left, levelling the score to 1 - 1. After 80 minutes, cazadores put themselves up 1 - 2, as J. Cortadillo finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by cazadores, with 63 percent of the ball.

Madrid!'s best player was C. Güáqueta. D. Grau was a disappointment, however. L. Cărăvan performed admirably for cazadores. On the other hand, L. Villatoro's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 2.
