Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and Enzona33 Arena saw a crowd turnout of 7996. Recta started off with a 3-4-3 lineup. They fielded: Armero - López-Pintado, Moratones, Bijleveld - Bautista, Crivellaro, Gareiss, Manzanares - Rogatskin, Assil, Sorozabal.

The wings were the focus of most of Recta's attacks today. Recta's S. Sorozabal was shown a yellow card after 8 minutes for slicing down an opponent. I. Gozón's knee will be throbbing for days, but thankfully for Enzona33, he bravely continued in the match. 31 minutes into the game, J. Bijleveld had a great chance to put his team ahead, but his kick from the left went wide. Recta's M. Crivellaro managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 32 minutes. 0 - 1. Players in Recta heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. A. Rogatskin of Recta took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 33 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 2. After 36 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for J. Bijleveld who increased Recta's lead to 0 - 3. The visitors' S. Sorozabal took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 41 minutes into the match. 0 - 4 for Recta. By now, the players in Recta felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 4. Recta had most of the ball, with 77 percent of possession.

After 49 minutes, Recta's M. Assil burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 5. S. Sorozabal left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 55 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. M. Hemanus was the replacement. Some fine movement on the left led to a Recta goal after 77 minutes, making it 0 - 6. I. Manzanares was noted down as the scorer. Enzona33's P. Pego was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 79 minutes. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 82 minutes, Recta did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, I. Manzanares was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 0 - 7. After 83 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed M. Bautista to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 8. The head of M. Assil connected with a corner kick after 84 minutes, and the ball ended up with J. Bijleveld of Recta who blasted the ball into the net, making the score 0 - 9. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave V. Carvajal from Enzona33 a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 85 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! It was obvious that Recta had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. With 87 minutes played, Recta put themselves up 0 - 10 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was M. Bautista. Recta claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 84 percent.

Enzona33's top performer was clearly V. Carvajal. S. Lobo Heras was a disappointment, however. Most important Recta player was D. Moratones. On the other hand, S. Armero's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 10.
