Pampin after 22 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 0 - 1 lead. After 30 minutes, D. Cosculluela made a dash down the middle past the away team's defenders to score the goal that made it 1 - 1. 33 minutes into the game, R. Månsson had a great chance to put his team ahead, but his kick from the left went wide. Halftime score was 1 - 1. A4P enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 58 percent of possession.

Cartagena's H. Rama got himself booked for a foul. A mistake by the home side's central defence after 62 minutes allowed D. Shukhovtsev to score for A4P. The scoreboard now read 1 - 2. With 65 minutes played, Cartagena's J. Cantoni found an opening in the visitors' left side defence, but his shot was handled easily by the keeper. A drive down the left side allowed R. Månsson to get in close and score another goal for A4P after 68 minutes, taking the score to 1 - 3. S. Vilaspasa challenged the visitors' central defence eagerly, producing a good chance 72 minutes into the game as he went for a through ball. But, as so many times before, the guests' defensive efforts got the best of it. Possession in this half belonged to A4P, who controlled the ball 57 percent of the time.

Most important Cartagena player was H. Rama. S. Salim was a disappointment, however. The most dominating A4P player was without a doubt G. Nicora. On the other hand, D. Shukhovtsev's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 3.
