Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 11016 at EL FUMADERO today. Jérôme Menuet was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Bresti Hjelm and Fabian Comsa. ATL.MOLINOS started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Lineup: Lichty - Cardiel, Chami, Vidanía - Tonfoni, Tejera, Silva, Caminero, Mammoliti - Mesalles, Sibaja.

A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Mirandes. The following players had been chosen: Loinaz - Iguarán, García-Drake, García, Yanke - Méndez Ortiz, Szilágyi, Valenzuela Acuña, Moldovan - Bidaurrazaga, Calahorra.

Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of Mirandes. Many thought A. Tonfoni ought to have been awarded a penalty 4 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around C. Loinaz after a determined run through the middle. A counterattack by Mirandes after 5 minutes could have resulted in a goal, but A. Moldovan, coming in on the left, couldn't get the shot off. With 6 minutes played E. Silva almost put the home team one ahead on a cross coming in from the right, but the shot went just wide. With the clock showing 7 minutes played, a great pass from the defensive line of Mirandes resulted in a counterattack that was smoothly brought under control by M. Iguarán in the centre of the opposition's penalty area, but his finish went high. ATL.MOLINOS fans held their breath as Z. Chami scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 1 - 0! Cheers filled the stadium as J. Vidanía broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 2 - 0 to ATL.MOLINOS. J. Vidanía could have increased the lead after 23 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. With 26 minutes played, ATL.MOLINOS's Q. Mesalles almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. 27 minutes into the game Mirandes managed a counterattack, but J. Méndez Ortiz took a soft shot from the left flank that was easy prey for the alert keeper. It was 2 - 0 at the break. ATL.MOLINOS had most of the ball, with 67 percent of possession.

51 minutes into the game, Mirandes's attack got through on the right, but J. Bidaurrazaga couldn't handle the ball and his feeble kick wound up in the keeper's arms. ATL.MOLINOS's E. Silva increased the lead to 3 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 67 minutes. 71 minutes into the match, Mirandes replied and reduced the lead to 3 - 1. H. García scored on a marvellous cross pass coming in from the left. ATL.MOLINOS put in a good effort on the right, but E. Silva saw his volley fly wide of the mark 75 minutes into the game. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by ATL.MOLINOS, with 64 percent of the ball.

Most important ATL.MOLINOS player was T. Caminero. D. Mammoliti on the other hand, had a terrible day. Mirandes's best player was J. Bidaurrazaga. However, C. Loinaz made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 1.
