The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 11169 had shown up at
Gran Estadi for the match.
Rafi Haviv was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Souleymane Beyo and
Ernst Kraus.
A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Barça.

Barça clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could.
Barça took the lead 16 minutes into the match after a magnificent free kick by
V. Granado that made the score 1 - 0.
R. Díaz could have increased the lead after 26 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park.
kilikis managed, after 30 minutes, to even the score at 1 - 1 with a lucky free kick by
潘. 云建 (Yunjian). Somehow the ball squirmed its way through the defensive wall!
The guests almost went up by a goal after 35 minutes when
R. Miñón Herreros came through and shot from the right. The ball bounced harmlessly off the post, though.
A. Mallek's speed was clear to see after 40 minutes, as he darted down the wing and released
S. Zestau who placed the ball into the back of the net to make the score 2 - 1.
Barça increased the lead as
A. Mallek struck to make the score 3 - 1 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper.
The teams went for the halftime break at 3 - 1.
kilikis claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.
Coming in on the left,
V. Naumov did everything right to get a goal for kilikis after 51 minutes, but his finishing shot was stabbed clear by the keeper.
60 minutes into the game, kilikis's attack got through on the right, but
P. Zaldierna couldn't handle the ball and his feeble kick wound up in the keeper's arms.
kilikis breathed new life into the game with an opportunity to reduce the score after 78 minutes, but the home side's defenders cleared the ball on the line, after a long shot coming in from the left rebounded off the crossbar.
After 79 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by
A. Mallek might have resulted in another goal for Barça. However,
E. Dieste made a spectacular save.
A questionable free kick call just outside the home side's penalty area gave kilikis a chance at reducing the score 82 minutes into the match. In the end, the ball went wide.
With 83 minutes gone, a long pass from the defence of Barça resulted in a counterattack that set
J. Montaner free through the middle, but the keeper made a spectacular diving save.
A. Mallek should probably have put his team up another goal after 84 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by
E. Dieste kept the visitors in the game.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by kilikis, with 57 percent of the ball.
J. Montaner performed admirably for Barça.
F. Polino was a disappointment, however.
kilikis's best player was
S. Ronda.
V. Naumov turned in a dismal performance, however.
