Tubin could have put the guests one up after 34 minutes after chasing a through ball from the right, but P. Correa was as fast as a snake, grabbing the ball from under his nose. Flegras mounted an inspired counterattack down the right wing after 35 minutes, but C. Butcă was unable to convert from short range. Freeride had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 39 minutes in when B. Ringeling came up alone against P. Correa who managed a block. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, D. Flors got himself booked. The manager of Flegras was not happy. P. Pische was the first to reach the corner kick, but his header was blocked by the keeper. However, Freeride's B. Ringeling managed to get hold of the rebound and tucked the ball into the empty net. 0 - 1 After 42 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for A. Ladesma who increased Freeride's lead to 0 - 2. 0 - 2 was the score after the first half. Freeride had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.

Against a lesser team, Flegras could very well have succeeded with their smart indirect free kick routine after 54 minutes. A trio of passes took the ball all the way past the defenders, but by then the intended recipient was already blocked off and the keeper could make a leisurely save. R. Eguino received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 82 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Flegras, with 51 percent of the ball.

The most dominating Flegras player was without a doubt P. Vilas. P. Correa was a disappointment, however. Freeride's best player was S. Hornabrook. P. Sáenz Barrio on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 2.
