previous 4/10 next 6/10  Felusines 0 - 6 REZZ (383245619)

Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 6915 at Felusos Camp today. Walter Puchta was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Martí Coll and Andrea Cicotti. Everyone was excited about the upcoming Andalucía derby and the crowd was divided evenly. Felusines had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. The following players took the field: Desgurra - Gago, Nieves, Sierra Galán, Solano - Loinaz, Gilabert, Valle Fernández, Pellicer - Cabias, Cendoya.

REZZ decided to use a 3-4-3 set up. Starters: da Penha - Hauer, Piguillet, Bonasia - Aminianfar, Herbeck, Cividáns, Roca Martínez - Pesić, Wolloner, Trukuš.

REZZ displayed their ability to play creatively. After 5 minutes, REZZ's K. Wolloner made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. E. Herbeck dispatched a majestic long shot 6 minutes into the match, but missed the goal by a few metres. REZZ came close to extending their lead as L. Piguillet delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 13 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. The visitors' M. Trukuš took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 17 minutes into the match. 0 - 2 for REZZ. Some fine movement on the left led to a REZZ goal after 19 minutes, making it 0 - 3. D. Pesić was noted down as the scorer. Halftime score was 0 - 3. REZZ claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 75 percent.

With 61 minutes played, REZZ put themselves up 0 - 4 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was K. Wolloner. At this point, it was obvious that the players of REZZ lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. After 68 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for D. Roca Martínez who increased REZZ's lead to 0 - 5. Always quick on his feet, REZZ's M. Trukuš sped down the field after 79 minutes, but his pass to K. Wolloner was just a bit too far ahead for him to get a good shot off. With the scoreboard showing that 80 minutes had been played, REZZ nearly put themselves up another goal after B. Aminianfar came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. After 84 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave A. Hauer a chance to increase the lead for REZZ, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 6. REZZ had most of the ball, with 83 percent of possession.

Most important Felusines player was A. Cabias. However, H. Nieves made a disastrous appearance. REZZ's top performer was clearly D. Pesić. K. Wolloner on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 6.
