At this point, it was obvious that the players of Morte lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave A. Loinaz from Felusines a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 23 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! J. Kryza unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. With 39 minutes played, Morte put themselves up 3 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to İ. Sakin, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. P. Gilabert neatly controlled the ball after a short corner, and knocked it on to A. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Morte to 6 - 0 as M. Haiderali finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. F. Baraja could have put Morte up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 76 minutes. Morte were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. After 78 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and M. Haiderali gave the Morte supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 7 - 0. The Morte free kick 79 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of R. Harkai, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 8 - 0! P. Ibsen struck a 30 metre free kick home 82 minutes into the match. 9 - 0 for the home team.
