11-08-2012 15.45
Clear skies welcomed the 9762 spectators who had made their way to
Prospekts Coliseum.
Paweł Węgielewski was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
David Arcaya and
Eduardo Ferrari.
Prospekts decided to use a 3-4-3 set up.
Lineup: Dotorarena - Engiz, Bonaventura, Buceta - Fear, Guerradell, Fantoni, Viegas Oliveira - Ruckerbauer, Mendiola, Salas.
Roque tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination.
They fielded: Otero - Riva, Camuso, Aymerich, Alonso - Cerrada, Manso Tabernero, Bennato, Enseña - Bar Cendón, Arias Díaz.
With 7 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 1 - 0 lead as
L. Mendiola flipped the ball in after a cross from the right.
Cheers filled the stadium as
A. Salas broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 2 - 0 to Prospekts.
With 22 minutes played,
F. Aymerich of Roque fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving.
26 minutes into the game, Roque had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to
passable.
A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Prospekts to 3 - 0 as
L. Guerradell finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle.
The referee showed Roque's
F. Enseña the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
Prospekts fans were dismayed when it was apparent no substitutes remained after
L. Mendiola's injury.
Prospekts increased the lead as
J. Fear struck to make the score 4 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper.
After this, you could see that the players of Prospekts were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.
After 41 minutes, Prospekts sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached
L. Guerradell, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 5 - 0.
42 minutes into the game, Roque seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a
inadequate level of organisation.
The teams went for the halftime break at 5 - 0.
Possession in this half belonged to Prospekts, who controlled the ball 80 percent of the time.
During the break, Roque's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to
solid organisation.
58 minutes in, Roque appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only
inadequate.
A. Bonaventura of Prospekts was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle.
J. Fear could have increased the lead after 75 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park.
After 83 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Roque found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to
weak.
J. Ruckerbauer increased the lead for Prospekts to 6 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it!
Prospekts enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 82 percent of possession.
Prospekts's top performer was clearly
J. Ruckerbauer.
On the other hand,
A. Bonaventura's play was disheartening.
F. Bar Cendón performed admirably for Roque.
D. Alonso on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The match ends 6 - 0.
