A scorching day at C. TARTIERE STADIUM, where 4076 spectators were in place for today's match. carofut's J. Estacio gave the visitors a 0 - 1 lead after 12 minutes with a superb strike from the right. After 22 minutes, carofut's J. Estacio burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 2. carofut increased their lead after 25 minutes when J. Pérez Peña broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 3, much to the home crowd's dismay. P. Cabreira of carofut was able to make an impressive rush past the sluggish P. Fresneda, which resulted in a goal making the score 0 - 4. Confident in their lead, carofut's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. The referee showed OVETUS's P. Barral the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. carofut had to make a substitution after 42 minutes. R. Cortijada limped off the field and was replaced by F. Carreras. After 43 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed F. Ruiz-Jarabo to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 5. P. Fresneda of OVETUS received a yellow card after 44 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. 0 - 5 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by carofut, with 60 percent of the ball.

After 48 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave F. Ruiz-Jarabo a chance to increase the lead for carofut, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 6. There was concern in the stands when, at the 49 minute mark, OVETUS's P. Casanova hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. With 50 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed F. Carreras of carofut to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 7. The intense heat forced A. Miñón Herreros into making some errors because he couldn't seem to keep up with the others. R. Farrús got a fingertip on V. López Ocón's shot from the left 57 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. A marvellous OVETUS effort on the right-hand side resulted in a goal after 59 minutes by J. Montalbo, making the score 1 - 7. carofut's F. Ruiz-Jarabo was shown a yellow card after 62 minutes for slicing down an opponent. F. Yáñez was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so OVETUS's E. Melón had to come off the bench. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave F. Axeitos from OVETUS a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 71 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! A loud groan was heard from the fans of carofut, as J. Pérez Peña left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match. R. Baliña took his place on the field. carofut enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 64 percent of possession.

D. Larrea performed admirably for OVETUS. P. Fresneda turned in a dismal performance, however. carofut's best player was J. Estacio. However, H. Bidazabal made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 7.
